During the exhibition, several distinguished guests, including Mr. Ouyang Yujing, Ambassador of China to Malaysia, Ms. Teo Nieching, Deputy Minister of Communications of Malaysia, and Mr. Li Zhiqiang, General Manager of China Telecom Malaysia, visited the exhibition area and exchanged views with participating enterprises and industry representatives. Suntech’s brand strength, technology capabilities, and long-term commitment to the renewable energy industry received strong recognition during exchanges with government officials and industry stakeholders, reflecting the company’s growing visibility and influence in the regional market.

As one of Southeast Asia’s key renewable energy markets, Malaysia continues to accelerate its energy transition through supportive policies, increasing demand for clean electricity, and ongoing investment in sustainable infrastructure. Leveraging 25 years of experience in the global solar industry, Suntech remains committed to strengthening its presence across the region through continuous technology innovation and localized partnership development.

Suntech’s high-efficiency N-type PV technologies and advanced quarter-cut module solutions attracted strong interest from customers and project developers attending the event. During the exhibition, Suntech also signed a 50MW supply agreement for its high-efficiency quarter-cut modules with its exclusive agent in Malaysia, NexGen AI Capitals Sdn. Bhd., marking another important milestone in the company’s expansion in Southeast Asia.
Powered by Suntech’s advanced N-type TOPCon technology, the quarter-cut modules deliver multiple performance advantages, including lower operating current, reduced hotspot risk, improved shading tolerance, and enhanced power generation stability. Combined with optimized module design and lower BOS costs, the solution is designed to help customers achieve higher system efficiency and stronger long-term project value, particularly under tropical and high-temperature operating conditions common across Southeast Asia.

The agreement further demonstrates growing market confidence in Suntech’s high-efficiency product portfolio and reinforces the company’s commitment to supporting regional customers with reliable and bankable PV solutions.
Moving forward, Suntech will continue working closely with local partners to contribute to Southeast Asia’s renewable energy development and accelerate the transition toward a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.
