Shanghai, China – June 2026 – Suntech and HY SOLAR jointly showcased their latest photovoltaic and energy storage technologies at SNEC PV+ 2026, presenting an integrated portfolio spanning silicon materials, wafers, solar cells, modules and energy storage systems.

Suntech recently welcomed a delegation of customers and industry partners from Brazil for a two-day visit to its manufacturing bases in Jiangyin and Xuzhou. The visit featured facility tours and in-depth discussions on Brazil’s evolving solar market, localized channel development, product adaptation for tropical climates, and future cooperation opportunities.

Hongyuan Green Energy Co Ltd has taken control of a new entity, Suntech Power Co., Ltd.(New Suntech) through subsidiary HY Solar Co Ltd. New Suntech holds the patents and brands formerly belonging to Wuxi Suntech, which remains insolvent. New Suntech and Hongyuan jointly operate a 16GW/year module factory at 1159 Gangcheng Avenue, Jiangyin. New Suntech is considered a new entity from Wuxi Suntech as of May 20, 2026.
