During SNEC 2026, Suntech signed strategic agreements with two leading Australian partners, Lawrence & Hanson and OSW Energy, covering a combined 800MW distribution target over the next three years. Both partnerships focus on promoting Suntech’s latest Ultra T 3.0 high-efficiency quarter-cut module, further accelerating the adoption of advanced module technology across the Australian market.
Suntech entered into a distribution partnership with Lawrence & Hanson, one of Australia’s leading electrical wholesalers. Founded in 1886, the company operates more than 150 branches nationwide and serves customers across residential, commercial, industrial, utility, and renewable energy sectors.

The signing ceremony was attended by Andrew Smyth, Executive General Manager of Lawrence & Hanson, Vincent, Chief Marketing Officer of Suntech Power, and Joey Zheng, General Sales Manager for Asia Pacific and Latin America at Suntech. Under the agreement, the two companies aim to achieve 300MW of module distribution over the next three years, with Suntech’s Ultra T 3.0 quarter-cut module serving as the flagship product offering.
Leveraging Lawrence & Hanson’s extensive branch network and long-standing customer relationships, Suntech will expand the availability of its high-performance PV products across Australia, further strengthening its market presence and customer reach nationwide.
Expanding Market Reach in Australia
Suntech also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with OSW Energy, a leading Australian distributor of solar and energy storage solutions. Together with its affiliated platforms, GreenDeal and GreenSketch, OSW Energy provides integrated supply, design, and procurement solutions to installers and renewable energy partners across the country.
The signing ceremony was attended by Usama Aslam, Director of Sales and Product at OSW Energy, Vincent, Chief Marketing Officer of Suntech Power, and Joey Zheng, General Sales Manager for Asia Pacific and Latin America at Suntech. The partnership targets 500MW of module distribution over the next three years, with both companies jointly promoting Suntech’s Ultra T 3.0 quarter-cut modules to installers and renewable energy partners across Australia.

Through this partnership, Suntech will further strengthen its presence in Australia’s renewable energy market by leveraging OSW Energy’s established distribution network, industry expertise, and customer reach. The collaboration will enhance access to Suntech’s high-performance solar solutions while supporting the growing demand for clean energy technologies across the country.
Strengthening Its Footprint in Southeast Asia
As Southeast Asia continues to emerge as one of the world’s fastest-growing solar markets, Suntech has taken another important step in its regional expansion by appointing NexGen AI Capitals as its exclusive photovoltaic module distributor in Malaysia.
The agreement was signed by Jun Ni, Chief Executive Officer of NexGen AI Capitals, and Joey Zheng, General Sales Manager for Asia Pacific and Latin America at Suntech.

A leading ESG infrastructure and operations platform in Southeast Asia, NexGen AI Capitals brings extensive market expertise, established local networks, and strong project development capabilities. By combining these strengths with Suntech’s high-performance PV products and comprehensive service capabilities, the two companies aim to accelerate solar deployment in Malaysia and neighboring markets, supporting regional clean energy growth and decarbonization efforts.
