The event brought together global solar companies and industry experts to review the latest innovations unveiled at SNEC Shanghai and Intersolar Europe in Munich, highlighting key industry trends in advanced PV technologies, energy storage integration, and intelligent energy management.
During the conference, Zoya Liu, Suntech Energy Storage Solutions Manager
, presented the company’s Ultra T 3.0 high-efficiency N-type module platform and SunStorage portfolio, demonstrating Suntech’s continued commitment to advancing integrated solar-plus-storage solutions for global markets.
Ultra T 3.0 Innovation
Suntech’s Ultra T 3.0 high-efficiency N-type module integrates advanced technologies including quarter-cut cells, edge passivation, and optimized poly-finger metallization. Designed around four key objectives — higher power output, lower system costs, enhanced reliability, and broader application flexibility — the module delivers improved power generation performance and lifetime energy yield.

The quarter-cut cell design reduces internal current losses and hotspot risks, while S-ALD edge passivation technology minimizes edge recombination losses to further enhance cell efficiency and module output.
To address diverse market requirements, Suntech offers a comprehensive product portfolio ranging from 465–490W all-black modules for residential rooftop applications to 640–670W bifacial modules for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale projects.
SunStorage Portfolio
As energy storage becomes an increasingly essential component of modern PV systems, Suntech continues expanding its SunStorage portfolio across residential, commercial & industrial, and utility-scale applications.
The SunStorage Pro series supports industrial energy management with hybrid storage solutions ranging from 25kW to 125kW, while the 500kW/1044kWh liquid-cooled containerized system integrates battery racks, PCS, BMS, and EMS in a prefabricated design for efficient deployment.

Equipped with STS technology, the system enables automatic backup switching within 20 milliseconds during grid outages, supporting reliable power supply for critical industrial operations.
Solar-Storage Integration
Suntech believes the future of solar development will be driven by integrated solutions combining PV generation, energy storage, and intelligent control systems. Through its self-developed EMS platform, the company enables functions including peak shaving, anti-backflow control, solar-storage coordination, and emergency backup.
Looking ahead, Suntech will continue advancing high-efficiency PV technologies, intelligent storage systems, and integrated solar-plus-storage solutions to support the global transition toward a more secure, efficient, and low-carbon energy future.
