Suntech To Present At The Morgan Stanley Asia Pacific Summit

WUXI, China, Nov. 10 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Suntech Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (NYSE: STP) one of the world's leading manufacturers of photovoltaic (PV) cells and modules, today announced that Vice President of Business Development, Steven Chan, will attend the Morgan Stanley Asia Pacific Summit to be held at The Oriental, Singapore from November 14 to 16, 2006. Mr. Chan will present on November 16, 2006 at 3:00 pm and will participate in one-on- one meetings with investors and analysts.
During the presentation, Mr. Chan will discuss Suntech's strategy to diversify its sales geographies, expand market share and secure silicon supply at competitive prices. In particular, he will explain Suntech's intention to leverage its emphasis on R&D technology and low cost production to be best positioned to take advantage of the global PV market. Mr. Chan will also provide an overview of the strategic role of its recently acquired subsidiary, MSK Corporation.
