State-of-the-Art Quality Control Process
Suntech knows how important quality is to its customers and has implemented a tiered, multi-step approach to quality control that follows the production of its solar products from inception to completion. At Suntech every quality control officer is given ownership of individual production processes to ensure responsible management, and Standard Operating Procedures are strictly adhered to and a key focus of each supervisor. Our Quality control officers follow a quick response action plan for identifying and eradicating trouble hot spots, and director level management is notified of all quality/production issues. At each level of quality control there is a redundant series of inspections by multiple qualified QC professionals ensuring that each product meets our stringent, internal expectations of quality. This quality control system was recognized when Suntech became the first solar energy company to receive exemption from Chinese export inspection. The export inspection exemption is China’s highest honor awarded to companies that demonstrate exceptional internal product quality management and control.

Certifications and Warranty
Suntech’s products are tested and the quality certified by the most prominent international quality testing and certification bodies meeting or exceeding the highest international standards. This includes UL, CE, TÜV, IEC 61215:1993 and ISO19001:2000, and all of our production processes are accredited with the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standard. Suntech also backs all its solar modules with a 25 year warranty.
