Since our founding as Wuxi Suntech Power Co. in 2001, Suntech has grown rapidly to become one of the world's leading producers of solar panels. Suntech currently has 4 factories with a fifth plant scheduled to begin production in 2008. In December 2005, Suntech Power Holdings Co., Ltd. made its initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange, where it trades under the symbol STP.
